Separating (open-end) zippers

At Leatherbox you buy the most beautiful zippers from the largest zipper manufacturer in the world. However, when choosing the right zipper, more than just what you like matters. Based on the application, first determine whether you need a separating (open-end) zipper or closed bottom (closed-end) zipper. How do you know if your zippers are open-end? With a open-end zipper you can separate the two zipper parts completely. This is recommended for jackets and zip-off pants, for example. With a two-way-chain separated zipper with two sliders, you can open the zipper at the top and the bottom. This is often used with long jackets, so that you can open the bottom of the zipper a bit to move more easily.
