The standard metal zipper is a commonly used zipper and perfect to use for heavier fabrics. This good quality metal zipper is two-way chain and comes with 2 sliders. The zipper is separating (open-end) and therefore suitable for applications where the two zipper parts at the bottom must be able to separate from each other.

Available in 80 centimeters. Do you need a different length? The zipper can be shortened to the desired length for a small additional charge.

The Elite finish has the most luxurious appearance due to the processing of real precious metals in the zipper. That is why the shine is more intense and the zipper even more durable. The Elite finish is applied individually per zipper.

One way chain | A single-sided zipper with the elements facing in one direction. The slider can therefore only move in the closing direction of the zipper.

Two way chain | A two-way zipper where the slider can move across the zipper in two directions. With a two-way chain zipper you can choose one slider and puller or two sliders and pullers (an O-zipper). All our zippers are two-way chain (we also offer some complete zippers as one-way).

Locked | The slider has a small pin in the mechanism that hooks into the zipper when the puller is down. This prevents the zipper from sagging. A locked sloder is recommended for clothing, jackets and shoes and for products with a lot of tension.

Non-lock | The slider can also move smoothly over the zipper with the puller down. For bags and inner bags, a non-lock slider is usually chosen.

Clothing and jackets | A locked, separating zipper is desirable for this. For trouser zippers, you do choose a non-lock zipper.

What to expect

A complete zipper
These zippers are ready to use and are supplied including a shutter, puller and start and end stops (or a divisibility box for a divisible zipper). The length of the zipper includes the start and end stops. Please note that the total length may differ a few millimeters from the ordered size. The zipper tape continues a bit on both sides.

Our zippers are of the very best, durable quality. But your zipper should not only be beautiful, but also suitable for your application. That's why we like to give you a few tips before you order.

Colors and finishes
Our zippers and zipper components have a special finish that makes them suitable for leather applications. The zippers and zipper parts are made of metal and finished with a color. A gold finish does not mean that you order a zipper made of real gold. The Elite finishes do contain real precious metals in the product. Colors and gloss may look slightly different on a screen than in real life. Is the exact tape color important? Ask about the possibilities to receive a color card. Also keep in mind that colors can vary slightly per batch.

Applications
There are many types of zippers, each with their own applications and properties. This can sometimes be a bit confusing. We give you the best possible advice in the webshop. Therefore, always read the accompanying texts and specifications, or search for a suitable zipper in the menu on 'application'. Are you unsure whether a zipper is suitable for your project? Made your choice? Then it's our turn. After receiving your order and payment, we will send your favorite items and our warmest regards with the delivery person within 1 to 3 working days. You will receive an email from us as soon as your package is on its way. You will also receive a separate email from the shipping party with track & trace information. Count on a delivery time between 2 to 5 working days. Within the Netherlands, delivery is usually slightly faster. Because we have no influence on how hard the postman steps on the accelerator, the stated delivery times are always indicative.

We understand that hasty speed is sometimes good. That is why you can also choose fast delivery with UPS Express when ordering. You pay a little more shipping costs, but you can start your design faster.

The total amount of your order must be at least 20 EUR. Shipping is free for orders from € 75 in the Netherlands and Belgium and from €200 in the rest of Europe.

Return

We hope your hands start itching to get started as soon as our package hits the mat. Is it disappointing and you are not completely satisfied with your purchase? Returns are possible at Leatherbox up to 14 days after receipt of your order. This is allowed by post, or at our wholesale store. The shipping costs are for your own account. Returns are only possible if the products are unused and untouched. Returns are not possible for shortened zippers and custom zippers.
